Administrator / Fundraising Team Support Assistant who has excellent administrative, organisational, time-management, communication and customer service skills is required to join our team at Guide Dogs and support the delivery of our fundraising campaigns.

 

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED


It would be great if you’ve worked in a charity / fundraising back-office environment. However, full training will be provided. Although you will need a solid administrative background with a ‘can do’, proactive approach to your work.

 

SALARY: £18,000 - £21,375 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Fundraising Team Support Assistant (known within the organisation as a Face-to-Face Executive) who has excellent administrative, organisational, time-management, communication and customer service skills.

This is a varied role and as the Administrator / Fundraising Team Support Assistant you will monitor stock management, process expenses, write fundraising communications as well as reporting and compliance monitoring. Full training provided.

You will also assist with the delivery of face-to-face fundraising campaigns, delivering results on time and to budget, maximising the number of responses and value, ensuring full compliance with all the relevant legislation and with expected standards.

As the Administrator / Fundraising Team Support Assistant will also provide key support for the team who recruit new donors to our Sponsor a Puppy, Lottery and Children & Young People’s regular giving products.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Administrator / Fundraising Team Support Assistant will include:

  • Assist the delivery of Face to Face fundraising campaigns, delivering results on time, to budget and maximising response and value
  • Raise Purchase Orders, manage invoices and complete fundraiser payroll when required
  • Support the day-to-day delivery of the face to face campaigns, including movements, stock management and other administrative support
  • Manage general queries from internal departments, supporters and members of the public on the Face-to-Face campaigns
  • Assist with complaint handling appropriately and effectively.
  • Assist with completing ad hoc tasks within the Face-to-Face team
  • Execute and report on Early Fraud Prevention Calling
  • Support in the face-to-face team’s compliance programme
  • Work with suppliers to ensure quality work is delivered, within the defined schedule and at a competitive cost

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Fundraising Executive / Charity Team Administrator you will have:

Essential

  • Good Standard of education, numerate and literate
  • GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Working in a busy environment, with a variety of tasks to deliver
  • Account management and administration experience
  • Working in the charity sector
  • Working with a number of different teams and/or suppliers
  • Some experience or exposure to Face-to-Face Fundraising Campaign Management
  • Competent in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office. An understanding of administrative systems
  • Excellent organisation, communication and administration skills
  • Good attention to detail, good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

 

Desirable

  • Ability to manage own workload and priorities
