Administrator / Administration Assistant who has good administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required to join our team at Guide Dogs based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: £18,000 - £20,250 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Administration Assistant who has good administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Working as the Administrator / Administration Assistant you will provide general administrative support to all teams within the Department to ensure Service Level Agreements are met and an excellent level of customer service is provided and support high levels of fundraising to deliver services.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Administrator / Administration Assistant will include:

  • Fulfilment of letter generation and printing requirements for the Department
  • Ensure that all out-going mail is completed daily and is recorded accurately
  • Update and amend the database using a high attention of detail to accurately record the required information
  • Weekly stocktake of stationary
  • Replenish literature from stock for the staff’s use
  • Scanning large volumes and indexing of supporter documentation and Gift Aid Declarations
  • Capture subscriptions for magazines onto database and fulfil high volumes to be sent to the supporters on a quarterly basis
  • Fulfil requests for documentation and information about various campaigns
  • Collate and manage data by updating various spreadsheets daily
  • Review all processes, procedures, leaflets and documents of various campaigns for accurate information provided and update the respective department for any discrepancies or outdated information

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Administrator / Administration Assistant you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in administration within a Customer Service environment with working to SLAs
  • Demonstrable evidence of willingness and ability to deliver the highest standards of customer care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid and Data Protection

Desirable

  • Experience working in a similar environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
