Administrative Support Worker and Driver / Employee Access Assistant that has a full, clean driving licence and good administration skills is required to support a visually impaired Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to fulfil their role.

 

SALARY: £18,000 - £20,250 + £4,105 London Allowance pro rata

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrative Support Worker and Driver / Employee Access Assistant that has a full, clean driving licence and good administration skills.

Working as the Administrative Support Worker and Driver / Employee Access Assistant you will be admin support and occasionally driving for a visually impaired Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager on a day-to-day basis, enabling them to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.

As the Administrative Support Worker and Driver / Employee Access Assistant you will form a close and trusting working relationship with the supported person, and having a person-centred approach, good communication skills and flexibility and understanding are extremely important.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Administrative Support Worker and Driver / Employee Access Assistant:

  • To drive the person supported in order that they fulfil the requirements of travel in their role
  • Providing sighted assistance, orientation and guiding to the person supported
  • Note take and read documentation to the Operations Manager as required by them
  • Assist with basic data input on Microsoft Office programmes include MS Word and Excel
  • Location information from a variety of sources, including internet, print and internal systems

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • To hold a full, clean UK driving license and have your own car
  • Achievement of GCSE passes at C, or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Evidence of dealing with confidential issues sensitively and with integrity
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential as the role will require a close working relationship with the person being supported
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, particularly verbal
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Effective time management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
