Accounts Clerk / Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant with excellent communication, organisation and numeracy skills is required for a well-established construction company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
SALARY: £20,000 per annum
LOCATION: Leeds, West Yorkshire
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Fridays 8.30am – 4.30pm
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Accounts Clerk / Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant with excellent communication, organisation and numeracy skills.
Working as the Accounts Clerk / Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant you will join a busy Accounts Office working with a diverse team of people.
As the Accounts Clerk / Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant you will cover a variety of duties including; producing reports and reconciliation of purchase statements, raising monthly statements and reminder letters, chasing debt, opening new customer accounts and entering payments received on a daily basis. There will also be general office administration such as filing, banking duties and assisting other team members when necessary.

As the Accounts Clerk / Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous purchase and sales ledger experience
- Producing reports and reconciling purchase statements
- Competent in Excel and Sage 1000
- Raising monthly statements and reminder letters
- Confident telephone manner
