Administrator required for our Global Client based in Newmarket, Suffolk (near to Cambridge).
Working as part of a team, the Administrator will have a wide range of duties and responsibilities providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support.
Our Client is a global consultancy working across the built and natural environment. They provide consultancy, design, engineering and management services in the fields of infrastructure, water, environment and buildings. Our Client has worked on a wide range of projects around the world including flood alleviation in New Orleans, the 2012 Olympic Stadium, the creation of Saudi Rail and major remediation projects for DoD and the Oil Majors in the USA. They have a team of more than 16,000 people in 14 countries, including 600 people in the UK.
Duties and responsibilities as the Administrator include:
- Manage all equipment bookings for the various projects that are running;
- Manage all vehicle bookings, ensuring all vehicles are maintained and serviced in accordance with the lease contracts;
- Compile various quotes / spend with third party suppliers, revising revenue sheets where applicable;
- General administrative duties such as, inputting employee timesheets, employee expenses, employee overtime, filing and general administration;
- Receptionist and switchboard duties as and when required, announcing visitors to staff, answering and transferring calls and taking messages when appropriate;
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, book travel, coordinate meeting rooms and set up conference calls when required.
Ideal candidates for the Administrator vacancy will have excellent attention to detail, first class written and verbal communication skills, previous experience working as an Administrator within an office environment, advanced Microsoft Office skills covering MS Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Any experience with Insphire or a similar resource planning software would be highly desirable.
